Ses travaux de recherche se centrent sur l\u2019activit\u00e9 math\u00e9matique en contexte de r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes, l\u2019activit\u00e9 collective, l\u2019enseignement des math\u00e9matiques et l\u2019\u00e9pist\u00e9mologie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ses recherches prennent appui sur la th\u00e9orie cognitive de l\u2019enaction, une th\u00e9orie biologique de la connaissance qui oriente le type de ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes qu\u2019elle \u00e9tudie, et qui agit en tant que cadre pour \u00e9tudier ceux-ci. Ses travaux de recherche s\u2019enracinent \u00e9galement dans une vision des math\u00e9matiques en tant qu\u2019activit\u00e9 humaine qui se fait et qui se produit dans l\u2019action. Dans une telle vision, l\u2019investigation math\u00e9matique est vue comme une activit\u00e9 au c\u0153ur de ce qu\u2019est <em>faire <\/em>des math\u00e9matiques. Ainsi, pour elle, les math\u00e9matiques ne sont pas des objets pr\u00e9d\u00e9finis ou d\u00e9j\u00e0 tout faits \u00e0 comprendre, mais r\u00e9sident plut\u00f4t dans une activit\u00e9 dynamique, en \u00e9volution, en mouvement. Elle a poursuivi des \u00e9tudes gradu\u00e9es en didactique des math\u00e9matiques.
